Industrial Electronic Service,LLC (IES) was founded in 1967 by Bill and Wyiona Staffan. It began as a one-person audio-visual and electronics repair shop. They began operations in a one room utility shed on their residential property. Three of Bill and Wyiona’s sons, Jim, Pete, and Paul helped out with the family business. Jim developed a 2 wire clock system in which a clock could receive power and data using only 2 wires. He had it patented in 1996 and that 2 wire system is the foundation of what IES has become today. In 2001, Jim, Pete, and Paul took control of Industrial Electronic Service and relocated to Carlisle, Ohio.
Industrial Electronic Service has become one of the major US manufacturers and installers of high quality digital clocks, timers, counters, and custom displays. We routinely custom design and install our DC-Digital products in armed services bases, hospitals, educational institutions, and manufacturing plants. Industrial Electronic Service is also a seasoned distributor of Daktronics scoreboards and message centers.
