It is to my understanding that they are using them for prepping the planes for the next  flight, to improve efficiency. We make all sorts of timers and counters where there is human intervention and or automated controls. whatever may your need for displaying numbers. Usually it relates to productivity, efficiency or just a motivator and then allowing those who are affected to see the results and adjust accordingly. we could do something like count cars in the parking area per day or how many per hour etc.. we aim to please. 		<description>Are you sure the airport bought these? I could understand if the airlines based at the airport bought them, as they are judged on their on-time performance. I could understand if the airport bought them too, as on time performance is important for Gatwick too. So far I have been impressed with GIP&#039;s (the new airport owner) moves to improve the customer experience. They really appear to be set to give Heathrow a run for its money. I wonder if they want a new runway??!!</description>
